(12-14" tall) 'Purple Prince' Single Early Tulip is easy to grow in beds and containers. Sword-like foliage adds texture and structure to the garden, while the classic, cup-shaped blooms are the essence of spring. Plant in masses for a spectacular display. The dark purple color harmonizes well with other single tulip varieties, both in the garden and in the vase. Be sure to plant enough to cut by the handful!
